Fire Department Profile
The Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department is one of six departments in Bridgewater
Township and covers approximately fourteen square miles in the northern end of
the township. The department
has two fire stations and seven pieces of apparatus. Martinsville's
response area is Bridgewater Fire District 1.
The department is comprised completely of volunteers that are on call 24 hours a day,
365 days a year. There are currently about 40 active members.
